No, and Yes. No it is not a formally recognized Church. Yes, it is a ‘ gathering of people ‘ for the purpose of discovering the truth.

No. But if you’d like to make a donation to help us off-set costs you’re free to do so and it would be appreciated.

No. There’s no need for us to have any.

How can I become a member of the Church of the Wandering Turtle?
Because we are not an ‘ official ‘ Church we do not have an ‘ official ‘ member list. This is an extremely informal arrangement whereby if you’d like to contribute your thoughts you can do so by posting comments or by requesting member registration.

How do I request member registration?
By sending an e-mail to the administration at :

administration[at]theitzone.org

or you can just post your request in the designated area :

The Wandering Turtle - Be a Member

Why can I not just register?
Because we have user registration disabled to prevent spam and spurious accounts.

Can I just become a member without having to contribute content or donations?
Yes. If you like this site, feel it’s informative, and you’d like to become a member, but don’t want to have to contribute content or donations, you can list your name here:

The Wandering Turtle - Be a Member

Eventually if and when we get enough names we will make a much more formal list.

The Wandering Turtle - Members

Please state your reasons for adding your name, because otherwise we won’t know if you want to be a contributing author or not.

Why a Turtle?
Why not a Turtle?

Any religious, philosophical, spiritual, or conceptual reason behind choosing a turtle over let’s say a toad or a lion?
No. But if we were to make something up…well we could say the significance of the turtle is that the process to discovering the truth is slow and arduous; we could say that the turtle, although slow on land, can be quite fast in the water which could be compared to the learning process starting slow but gradually picking up speed as we swim into deeper waters; we could say that the turtle carries his home as we carry our beliefs; we could make up many reasons to pick the turtle …
but we won’t…

How long has the Church of the Wandering Turtle been around?
